Virginia Tech, Holocaust Survivors, and US Massacres
Look carefully. Remember deeply. There is more than one holocaust survivor amongst the thirty-three dead at Virginia Tech.
And the shooting is NOT the worst massacre in US history in this land. The Wounded Knee Massacre, with 300 Lakota (including women, elders, and children) mown down by US Army Hotchkiss guns is.

Both these images are so symbolic of Amerika's death culture and all who serve it so unconscionably.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the VT shootings have been labeled the worst "school shootings massacre" rather than the worst "massacre"-period. This is accurate. However, thank you for reminding me of those who are all-too-often forgotten, and who should be in our hearts as well.
Thanks Felix, for your comment.
I've heard the news media labeling the incident both ways - as the worst massacre and as the worst school massacre. They leaned more toward the former in the first days after the shootings.
I found it a bit disturbing, the way the media initially responded to it by calling it the worst massacre in "recent" history...so, is Wounded Knee not recent enough to count in network televisionland?
Welcome Ecogrrl:
No, neither Wounded Knee I or II are recent enough to be deemed worthy of remembrance by gringo-tv-landia. They do it on purpose, of course, to sanitize and invisibilize the Occupation's true history and impact on Native North America.
